The BIG Halal Day out

Since 2016, tens of thousands of people have been attending the annual WORLD HALAL FOOD FESTIVAL (formerly known as the London Halal Food Festival) at Tobacco Dock. This unique event, the only one of its kind across the globe, offers two days of food, fun, and live entertainment. The festival brings together a diverse array of cultural foods, showcasing up to 30 different halal cuisines from around the world. Attendees can enjoy live cooking demonstrations with celebrities such as Big Zuu and leading chefs including Nadiya Hussain, Shelina Permaloo, and Saliha Mahmood-Ahmed. Additionally, there is much-loved entertainment like a live Qawaali band and many more attractions, ensuring an unforgettable summer's day out for all the family.

Now in its ninth year and in its new home at the magnificent London Stadium, Queen Elizabeth Park, the global gourmet celebration promises to be bigger and better than ever. Guests travel from far and wide across the globe to enjoy the World Halal Food Festival 2024. We pride ourselves on giving attendees of all backgrounds the opportunity to experience the delicious tastes of halal food and providing a platform for multiple halal businesses from all over the world to come together, engage, and access the wider halal economy.

Beyond London

Formerly and fondly known as the London Halal Food Festival, the event has grown over the years to epic proportions! Now in our Olympic-sized home at London Stadium, featuring world-class brands offering international flavours and with both a loyal national fanbase and a global audience flying in every year, we decided it was time our name should reflect all this. That's why we are now very proud to be the World Halal Food Festival.
